Not since Danny la Rue has such a glamorous diva been seen on the public stage.

Ian trained as an Actor at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama. His stage career has included roles in London’s West End, National UK Tours and International performances .

Theatre Credits include: Stepping Out (National Tour) Noises Off (Recent Tour) Out of Order, Red Peppers, The Tempest, Taming of the Shrew (Theatre Clywd), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Bard Unbound) Under Milkwood, The Real Inspector Hound, Black Comedy, Ghost Train (Revival Tour) The Importance of Being Earnest,                The Elephant Man and Hedda Gabler.

Musical Theatre includes leading roles in: Cabaret, Me and My Girl, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Fiddler on the Roof, We’ll  Meet Again, Half a Sixpence and Joseph & His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Television work includes roles in several series: London’s Burning, EastEnders, The Bill, and Casualty.

Film Credits include: Princess Carabou, Sense and Sensibility, Indian Summer, Mission Impossible.

 Ian is also a respected  Image Consultant  and Style Guru. Having been a Tutor at The Lucie Clayton Finishing School and worked with Politicians, Royals and Celebrities. He has regularly appeared on TV and Radio Shows like This Morning, How to look Good Naked, The Vanessa Show and  Trisha, The George Lamb Show and BBC Radio Breakfast regularly call on him for image and etiquette advice.  His work has covered everything from business behaviour to make overs.  He has produced articles on all aspects of etiquette, business skills and Image.

In Panto Ian has played Widow Twankey(Aladdin, Blackburn) Ugly Sister(Cinderella, Newark )and Ugly Sister( Cinderella, Reading) as well as Simple Simon (Red Riding Hood Fleetwood) Muddles (Snow White, Morecombe) and Wishee Washee (Aladdin, Warrington) Dolly Dumpling (Snow White, Bridlington) Tilly Twitter (Robin Hood, Telford)

As Strawberry Whip the character is a consummate Diva. She has been delighting audiences worldwide for more years than a lady will admit to. Her unique talents have led her through Musical Theatre, Pantomime, Summer Seasons and Cabaret.

Strawberry has performed at many famous theatres and venues around the UK. Internationally she has strutted her stuff in Clubs, Theatres, Bars and Hotels in France, Spain, Greece and Italy as well as the occasional Cruise Ship working with Royal Caribbean, Island Cruises and Costa.

In her performance she has paid tribute to almost all the great Divas from Monroe to Madonna, Gaga to Garland.
Strawberry Whip is far more than a Drag Queen, She is a unique talent. Her singing, dancing, acting and comedy are a result of years of study and experience working alongside some of the best in the Industry. She is an elegant and fabulous performer.
